Non-Added Formaldehyde (NAF) for Wood Panel Board

NAF are resins formulated with no added formaldehyde as part of the resin cross linking structure. NAF is usually a 3 or more component systems that offers good bonding at a competitve cost in comparison with EPIs. One key advantage is also the longer assembly time it can tolerate. Systems that can stretch to 2 hrs of total assembly times are now a reality. This benefits many plywood mills with manual and slow processes to produce formaldehyde-free products economically.
